A high rise building on Gerard Road, the upscale Ikoyi area of Lagos has this Monday 01 November collapsed.
The building, about 21-floors is still under construction.
Eyewitnesses say they suspect there may be scores of people buried under the rubble.
No rescue operation is yet underway.
Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial and most populated city has a dismal record of building collapse.
