Nollywood actress Temitope Osoba has passed away after battling cancer, leaving colleagues and fans heartbroken.
The actress died on Tuesday evening, almost two years after undergoing surgery for breast cancer.
Her death was announced on Wednesday by actor Alesh Ola Sanni, who shared the sad news on his Instagram page.
In an emotional tribute, Sanni said he had been unable to sleep since hearing of her passing.
He described Osoba as a dear sister and recalled the beautiful moments they shared together. He wrote, “Couldn’t sleep since last night.
It’s well. Rest in peace, my dearest sister, Temitope Osoba.
We had amazing times and good memories together. Till we meet again.” He also admitted he was still struggling to find the right words to express his grief.
Temitope Osoba had openly battled breast cancer in recent years and received support from colleagues and well-wishers during her treatment.
Her death is a painful loss to the Nollywood industry, where she was known for her talent and dedication.
Fans and fellow actors have continued to mourn her passing while praying for the peaceful repose of her soul.
