The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has declared Halimat Adenike Tejuosho, a south-west women wing coordinator of the City Boy Movement, wanted over alleged fraud.
The announcement came on Monday as the anti-graft agency linked her to an ongoing investigation into obtaining money by false pretence and related offences.
Tejuosho, 41, is an indigene of Lagos State. Her last known address was listed as House A26, Aso Grove Estate, Maitama Extension, Abuja.
According to the EFCC, the public is now expected to assist in locating her as investigations continue across multiple states.
EFCC Investigation Deepens Across Lagos and Abuja
The EFCC said Tejuosho is being investigated over allegations involving fake job offers and contract scams targeting unsuspecting victims.
She was previously questioned in June 2025 after complaints that she collected money from individuals under the pretext of securing federal government employment and contracts.
At the time, she was linked to a business entity known as Haleems Integrated Services Limited, which investigators alleged was used to issue fake appointment letters and forged documents.
Following earlier interrogation, she was granted administrative bail while the investigation continued.
Now, the EFCC has escalated the case and declared her wanted after what it described as fresh developments in the probe.
The commission also released multiple contact channels, including offices nationwide and hotlines, for anyone with useful information.
Interested persons were directed to report through EFCC offices in cities such as Lagos, Abuja, Kano, Port Harcourt, Ibadan, and others, or via official communication lines.
City Boy Movement Suspends Coordinator Amid EFCC Probe
Meanwhile, the City Boy Movement has suspended Tejuosho from her role as south-west women wing coordinator.
The group said the decision takes immediate effect and is tied to the ongoing investigation by the EFCC.
In a statement, the organisation explained that the suspension is intended to preserve its image and internal standards.
“This action has been taken as a necessary administrative measure to protect the image, credibility, and ethical standards of the Movement,” the group stated.
It further explained that the suspension ensures the probe continues “without interference, obstruction, or undue influence.”
The City Boy Movement also restated its zero-tolerance position on misconduct involving its members.
The group is a youth-driven political support organisation rooting for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu for a second term in office.
The suspension now places Tejuosho’s political and public role under further scrutiny as the EFCC continues its investigations.
