Former WWE Champion and UFC icon Brock Lesnar is reportedly on WWE’s internal “banned list,” following his absence from television since SummerSlam 2023.
The claim was made by former UFC Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier during an appearance on Demetrious Johnson’s podcast, where he stated that Lesnar is currently facing significant restrictions from the company.
“Brock is on the banned list right now. Brock got into so much trouble… I ain’t telling you on air what Brock did. Brock is in so much trouble,” Cormier said, suggesting internal disciplinary action by WWE or its parent company, TKO Group Holdings.
The situation appears to be connected to an ongoing sexual trafficking lawsuit filed earlier this year by former WWE employee Janel Grant against Vince McMahon.
Legal Controversy and Fallout
Lesnar was indirectly named in the amended complaint, which alleged that McMahon attempted to use Grant as leverage during contract negotiations with a top WWE and UFC talent—widely believed to be Lesnar.
Although Lesnar was not initially named, the amended filing in February 2025 confirmed his identity.
The lawsuit claims McMahon shared Grant’s explicit content with Lesnar and arranged a meeting between them, which was later canceled due to weather conditions.
Lesnar’s removal from high-profile events such as the 2024 Royal Rumble and WrestleMania 40 is believed to be linked to these allegations.
Despite the mounting speculation, WWE has not issued any official statement regarding a ban, suspension, or termination of Lesnar’s contract.
WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H and other company executives have so far remained silent on Lesnar’s future, offering no confirmation or denial in public interviews or press conferences.
Lesnar, a dominant force in both WWE and UFC, last appeared in WWE in his loss to Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam 2023.
His absence has left a noticeable gap in WWE programming, especially considering his previous role as a marquee name during major pay-per-view events.
WWE continues to list Lesnar as an active talent on its website, and his matches are still featured on official platforms.
