Kano Pillars Secure ₦100 Million Partnership Deal with RFI Hausa

Nigerian Premier Football League (NPFL) side, Kano Pillars, have announced a ₦100 million partnership deal with international media platform RFI Hausa, in a strategic move to elevate the club’s visibility, infrastructure, and branding.

The announcement was made earlier today at the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano, with the club’s General Manager and former Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa leading the unveiling.

“This partnership is a significant milestone that will reposition Kano Pillars for global recognition,” Musa declared.

The ₦100 million deal includes full sponsorship of team kits, provision of modern media equipment, and capacity building for the club’s media and communications team.

It also ensures RFI Hausa will consistently publish match updates and content featuring Kano Pillars across its widely followed platforms.

RFI Hausa’s Nigeria Country Coordinator, Joe Penny, also voiced excitement about the collaboration:

“From what I have seen watching the Nigeria Premier Football League since 2011, I have no doubt I’m already a fan of Kano Pillars. We want to help position them as an international football brand.”

Professional-grade media gear—including cameras and production tools—will be supplied, while staff training will cover content creation, social media management, and brand storytelling.

These initiatives will help reinforce the club’s digital and broadcast capabilities.

This partnership reflects another chapter in the sweeping reforms introduced under Ahmed Musa’s leadership, as Kano Pillars strives to reclaim its former glory as a powerhouse in Nigerian football.
