Palestinian Health Ministry says the war in Gaza has now claimed 52,200 people, with at least 51 of them in the latest airstrikes by Israel in the last 24 hours.
Another 115 individuals were injured, bringing the total number of wounded to 117,639 since the conflict intensified.
Rescue efforts are still severely hampered, with many victims still trapped under rubble of yesterday’s attack.
The destruction caused by continuous airstrikes and sniper fire has made certain areas inaccessible to emergency responders.

In addition to the latest casualties, 697 more individuals have been officially added to the registry after their identification data was finalized.
Since Israeli forces resumed their assaults on March 18, following the collapse of a ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement, 2,151 people have been killed, and 5,598 others injured—the majority being women and children.

Israel now faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) due to its continued attacks on Gaza. The humanitarian situation has deteriorated further, with over 65% of casualties being children, women, and elderly individuals.
Reports indicate that more than 18,000 children and 12,400 women have been killed since the conflict began in October 2023.
Additionally, the war has devastated Gaza’s infrastructure. The healthcare system has collapsed, with over 1,400 doctors and healthcare workers killed. Schools and universities have also suffered, with more than 13,000 students and 800 educators losing their lives.
Israel’s blockade reportedly cut off food, medicine, and essential supplies for Gaza’s two million residents. Aid groups warn that malnutrition is rising, especially among children and pregnant women.
The situation has become dire, with families surviving on canned vegetables, rice, and lentils, as meat, dairy, and fresh produce have disappeared from markets.
The conflict shows no signs of abating, with Israeli forces expanding their buffer zone and encircling Rafah, now controlling 50% of Gaza’s territory.
