The International Conference Centre (ICC) in Enugu, known as the “Jewel of the East,”🎊 is set to be completed by the end of September. The ICC combines contemporary aesthetics with the cultural heritage of Enugu, featuring a 1,500-seat auditorium with advanced public address systems, air conditioning, and LED screens.
However, the ICC is more than just a conference center. It’s a versatile complex that caters to a wide range of activities. It features a VIP backstage area, changing rooms, a VIP lounge, a private theater, and a kitchenette. The complex also houses shopping malls, a cinema, game arcades, a supermarket, and a barbershop, with a food court and arcade centers. The ICC also features a nature park with a water slide, Ferris wheel, and various eateries. The conference halls within the shopping mall structure are perfect for seminars, meetings, and events. The ICC is designed to host multiple events simultaneously, making it a hub of activity and a key player in Enugu’s development.
The project was started by Senator Chimaroke Nnamani’s government in 2003 but was abandoned by two successive administrations. Gov. Peter Mbah has reinvigorated the project, marking it as part of his vision to return Enugu to its prime position as the political and administrative capital of Eastern Nigeria.
Join us to celebrate the “Jewel of the East“🎊 – Enugu State International Conference Center and all those who are part of the envisioning and implementation of the grand project.🥂🎈🪅🥳🥳
