It was a night to forget at the Euros for Cristiano Ronaldo, 39, as he endured another humiliating evening in front of goal without adding to his tally.
Portugal enjoyed the majority of the opportunities, but Benjamin Sesko of Slovenia made a critical one-on-one save.
Particular focus is on Ronaldo who missed multiple chances including a spot kick in the 105th minute that would have given Portugal clean victory and saved the game from going into penalty shootouts.

Portugal narrowly escaped humiliation even with a star-studded squad of players like Bruno Fernandes, Diogo Jota, still unable to break Slovenia till fulltime.
Slovenia also had their chances, with the most notable being Benjamin Sesko’s opportunity after a defensive error by Pepe. However, his shot was straight at Diogo Costa, allowing Portugal to stay in the game.
