Presidential hopeful Peter Obi has praised Air Peace for what he described as a smooth and reliable travel experience on its Lagos–London route.
He shared his experience after arriving in London on the airline’s international service, noting consistent improvement since the route began operations.
The Lagos–London route, launched to expand Nigeria’s presence in international aviation, has become a key milestone for the privately owned airline as it competes on long-haul services.
Obi said his experience reflected steady progress in service delivery.
“Since the inception of Air Peace’s London flights, each experience has been smooth and exciting.”
He added that Nigerian travellers should continue to support local airlines as they expand into global markets.
Passenger Comfort and Added Services
Obi, who built his political and economic philosophy on patriotic patronage of local products and job creation, also pointed to the airline’s added convenience services, including a complimentary drop-off ride offered in partnership with Simplaa.
The service is designed for Business Class and First Class passengers, providing transport from the airport to their final destination in London.
He described the feature as a comfort-enhancing addition to the travel experience.
“The complimentary drop-off ride makes the experience more fascinating.”
Air Peace said the initiative is part of its effort to improve passenger satisfaction while strengthening its competitive position on international routes.
Simplaa, its transport partner, said the service ensures safe and reliable movement for travellers between airport and city locations.
Air Peace has continued to expand its international footprint in recent years, with the Lagos–London route seen as one of its most significant achievements in global aviation.
