TikTok content creator Elizabeth Amadou, popularly known as Jarvis, has confirmed the end of her relationship with fellow influencer and livestreamer Hamzat Habeeb (Peller), while appealing to the public to stop mocking him following his recent car crash.
Speaking during a live video on Tuesday, Jarvis addressed the wave of online reactions to Peller’s hospitalisation after his accident on the Lekki-Epe Expressway in Lagos.
She said ridicule was worsening the situation and urged fans to show compassion. “People will mock him. Stop mocking him. Stop shading him,” she pleaded.
Jarvis emphasised that the incident should not be used to judge Peller’s character, noting that his challenge lies in emotional control rather than ill intent.
“Yes, he cannot control his emotions. That’s the problem. I can control mine, but he can’t control his. We need to join hands to help him,” she explained.
Breakup for Healing, Not Hatred
Confirming their breakup, Jarvis said the decision was necessary for clarity and wellbeing, not abandonment.
“Peller is a sweet guy. I didn’t want it to end, but it has happened. The relationship is not the issue now. It’s not about going back to what we were. The solution is for us to put our heads together to help him become better. The relationship part is over for now,” she said.
She appealed to fans to stop spreading harmful narratives, stressing that mockery only deepens pain.
“How is shading helping? It’s not helping. Don’t use it against him. Encourage him. Encourage us. Help us. Stop using our pain to mock us,” she added.
Jarvis expressed gratitude that no life was lost in the crash, urging the public to focus on recovery.
“All you should be saying is thank God for life. Thank God for Peller. Thank God nothing happened to him. I love him, but for now we both need to be okay,” she concluded.
Earlier reports revealed that Peller sparked concern on Sunday after crashing his newly acquired Mercedes-Benz during a live Instagram broadcast titled “RIP Peller.”
He was visibly distressed, crying during a phone call believed to be with Jarvis, before the vehicle veered off the road and hit a stone barrier.
Videos later showed bystanders helping him before he was taken to hospital.
