The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has completed the group stage draw for the 2025/26 CAF Champions League, placing Nigeria’s Rivers United in Group A.
Rivers United will face reigning champions Pyramids FC of Egypt, Moroccan side RS Berkane, and Zambia’s Power Dynamos.
Egyptian giants Al Ahly, 12-time winners, were drawn in Group B alongside Tanzania’s Young Africans, Moroccan champions AS FAR, and Algeria’s two-time African champions JS Kabylie.
Group C features South Africa’s Mamelodi Sundowns against Sudan’s Al Hilal, Algeria’s MC Alger, and DR Congo’s St Éloi Lupopo.

Group D will see Espérance Sportive de Tunis, Simba SC of Tanzania, Petro de Luanda of Angola, and Mali’s Stade Malien compete.
The group stage kicks off the weekend of November 21–23, with two matchdays before the Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco 2025. The competition resumes January 23–25, 2026, and the knockout phase begins March 13, 2026.
Winners of the 2025/26 CAF Champions League will pocket $4 million, while runners-up earn $2 million.
