FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup: Quarter-Final Lineup Confirmed

The quarter-final fixtures for the fifa.com/fifaplus/en/tournaments/womens/u17womensworldcupmorocco2025">FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in Morocco have been confirmed, following the conclusion of Wednesday’s Round of 16 matches that saw a flurry of goals and heartbreaks.

Canada stormed into the last eight with a commanding 6–0 win over Zambia, while Japan outclassed Colombia 4–0 in another one-sided affair. Mexico also edged Paraguay 1–0 to book their place in the next round.

France, in a dramatic encounter, defeated Spain 5–4 on penalties after both sides failed to score in regulation time.

The quarter-finals are scheduled for this weekend — Saturday and Sunday — as the competition moves into its most decisive phase.

Sadly, no African nation made it to the quarter-finals after Nigeria’s Flamingos, hosts Morocco, and Zambia were all knocked out in the Round of 16.
