Sean “Diddy” Combs Girlfriend, Cassie, Testifies Against Him In Sex Trafficking Trial

Sean “Diddy” Combs’ ex-girlfriend, Casandra Ventura, known as “Cassie,” testified in court on Tuesday, detailing years of alleged abuse. She described violent encounters that left her with black eyes and bruises.

Ventura, visibly pregnant, told the jury that Combs frequently assaulted her. “He would bash my head, knock me over, drag me, kick me, stomp me in the head if I was down,” she said, her voice breaking.

When asked how often Combs was violent, she responded, “Too frequently.”

Combs, 55, has pleaded not guilty to five felony charges, including racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution. If convicted, he faces a minimum of 15 years in prison and could receive a life sentence.

Prosecution’s Case Against Combs

Prosecutors allege Combs manipulated women into relationships, coerced them into drug-fueled sex parties, and blackmailed them with recorded videos.

“He viciously attacked women when they resisted taking part in the parties or otherwise upset him,” prosecutor Emily Johnson stated in her opening remarks.

Ventura testified that she participated in the parties, known as “Freak Offs,” to avoid angering Combs. “I was confused and nervous, but I also loved him very much and wanted to make him happy,” she said.

Ventura described how Combs controlled her life and career. “Control was everything, from the way that I looked to what I was working on that day, who I was speaking to. Control was kind of an all-around thing to a certain point,” she said.

She claimed Combs used videos of the encounters as blackmail to ensure her continued participation.

Defense’s Argument

Combs’ lawyers argue that prosecutors are criminalizing his “swingers” lifestyle. Defense attorney Teny Geragos admitted Combs had a bad temper but denied any involvement in sex trafficking. “Domestic violence is not sex trafficking,” she said. “He is not charged with being a flawed individual.”

Prosecutors presented a 2016 video showing Combs throwing Ventura to the ground and kicking her in a Los Angeles hotel hallway. Combs, wearing only a towel, is seen dragging her belongings into the hallway. He later apologized when the footage surfaced last year.

Combs’ lead lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, argued the incident stemmed from a dispute over infidelity. He suggested Ventura had a history of domestic violence, aiming to challenge her credibility.

The trial is expected to last two months, with testimony from Ventura, other alleged victims, and former employees accused of covering up Combs’ actions.
