President Bola Tinubu Saturday had a flurry of visitors from across the world.

The United States Assistant Secretary of State, Amb. Geoffrey Praytt came calling. His meeting with the president, which agenda was undisclosed to the press was held with the Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Mele Kolo Kyari in attendance.
At his inauguration last month, the president ordered the removal of petrol subsidies but also promised in the same speech that “Electricity will become more accessible and affordable to businesses and homes alike”.
Last week he accented to the Electricity Act which now allows state governments and the private sector into the electricity business hitherto a preserve of the national government.

Mr Tinubu also received in audience, business tycoon Aliko Dangote and co-chair of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and founder of Microsoft Inc, Bill Gates.
Their meeting was behind closed doors as well but expectedly their discussion could centre on issues of global health and development.

Mr Sunil Bharti Mittal, Chairman of Bhanti Artel Worldwide also came calling at the presidential villa in the company of his Chief Executive Officer Dr. Segun Ogunsanya and other members of the company’s board.
