Anake described the achievement as a reflection of the students’ determination and the university’s commitment to academic excellence.
He reaffirmed the institution’s resolve to produce graduates capable of competing in the global labour market.
Oyedepo Challenges Graduates to Solve Problems
In his remarks, the Chancellor, Dr David Oyedepo, challenged the graduating students to become problem-solvers.
He said the world needs people who can provide solutions rather than merely entertain.
“Refuse to wander away from God-ordained place because displacement can be pitiable,” Oyedepo said.
He encouraged the graduates not to wait for others to address societal challenges. “Don’t wait to see problems solved; but take steps to solve problems,” he added.
According to him, the challenges confronting society represent opportunities for graduates to make meaningful contributions.
The Pro-Chancellor, Mrs Faith Oyedepo, congratulated the graduands and urged them to embrace continuous learning.
She challenged them to develop innovative solutions to humanity’s problems.
“Do not waste your waiting season but make global impact and begin locally,” she advised.
She also urged the graduates to uphold truth and integrity in a generation increasingly confronted by compromise.
