TikTok stars Habeeb Hamzat, known as Peller, and his fiancée Elizabeth Amadou, known as Jarvis, have revealed that a spiritual oath binds their relationship as they prepare to marry.
The couple spoke on an episode of The Honest Bunch Podcast released on Monday, days ahead of their wedding, set for August 1.
Jarvis said infidelity would cost either partner their life, describing the consequence as ordained by God.
“If you cheat, you die. It’s the rule of the relationship. Things will no go well for the person. Because we are in a commitment. The fact that we pray together. God is involved. And you now go and cheat. Will God sit down and be looking at you. I will swear for you,” she said.
Asked whether Peller had ever cheated, she answered simply, “No.”
Peller, for his part, responded, “Why would I cheat on her?”
Peller, 21, is a Nigerian content creator known for his energetic livestreams and large TikTok following, while Jarvis has built her own profile alongside him.
The ‘Curse’ And A Rejected Blood Pact
Jarvis said the “curse” placed on the relationship still stands.
“The reassurance and commitment is already there. That is why I said he will die if he cheats. The curses we have placed is already there. We love each other. The commitment is already there. There is no reason to cheat,” she said.
Asked if God would forgive Peller should he cheat and later repent, she said, “God will forgive him.”
Peller also disclosed that he once suggested a literal blood pact to seal the relationship.
“I told her. She said she doesn’t want to do. She said no. We were going to cut ourselves with knife. I saw it on TikTok that if anybody cheats after doing that, something will happen to the person. So I wanted us to do it, but she didn’t agree,” he said.
Jarvis confirmed she turned down the idea, saying their only covenant should be with God.
“The only blood covenant we have is with God. All those ones is not something we should be doing. The reassurance and commitment is already there,” she said.
From Family History To A Ghana Proposal
Peller has said he wants the marriage to break a pattern in his family, where his parents had children without marrying.
“My parents had us without getting married, but I want to break that curse. Whether I get married at 30 or now, the responsibilities I’d carry then are the same ones I’ll carry and fulfil starting today,” he said.
He said he had already told his parents about the wedding plans, though they did not take him seriously at first.
“I told my parents I was going to get married, and they thought it was a joke. I told them I love Jarvis with all my life and that I will marry her,” he added.
Peller also said the energetic personality fans see online is largely a performance, saying he is more reserved and focused on business in private.
“All people see online about me is the character. I’m more mature when I’m alone. If I’m at home alone, I sit down, write things and think about the next thing that will bring money. The only thing I bring to people is the character,” he said.
Peller proposed to Jarvis during a trip to Accra, Ghana, in June, and footage of the moment went viral online.
The couple’s wedding is scheduled for August 1, 2026, with preparations already underway.
