Nigerian content creator and streamer Carter Efe has mocked Babcock University’s legal action against him over certificate forgery.
the university announced plans to sue Carter Efe after he claimed during an interview with Egungun of Lagos that he graduated with a First Class degree from the institution. He later shared what was alleged to be a fake certificate on X.
Efe had made the claim during an interview with Egungun of Lagos, and subsequently shared the alleged false certificate on X.
Reacting to Carter Efe’s claim, the institution announced that it would be pursuing legal action against “those responsible for these forgeries”.
However, responding to the controversy during a live stream, Carter Efe who appeared to be mocking the varsity’s legal threat, stated that he would only appear if the institution could pay a N100,000 ticket fee to see him.
