Adedeji Adeleke, billionaire father of Nigerian music star David Adeleke (Davido), has publicly dismissed the paternity claims made by a 12-year-old girl, Anuoluwapo, against his son.
Speaking at a press conference in Lagos on Wednesday, Adeleke stated categorically that Anuoluwapo is not Davido’s child.
He revealed that five separate DNA tests had been conducted to verify the claim, all of which returned negative results.
“Davido cannot take responsibility for a child that is not his own. However, Anuoluwapo deserves to know her father,” Adeleke said.
Despite the outcome of the DNA tests, Adeleke disclosed that he has consistently supported the girl financially.

He explained that he regularly sends money for her school fees and upkeep, with her aunt providing receipts and evidence of purchases made for the child.
He added that Davido is unaware of these arrangements, noting: “I did not discuss it with David or anybody.”
Background to the Story
Anuoluwapo had recently taken to Instagram to formally request a DNA test to confirm her identity, sharing a photo of herself and a message about starting school after the holidays.
Davido responded by dismissing the allegations, insisting that multiple DNA tests had already been conducted and all proved he is not her father.

He demanded Anu and her mother stop involving him in the matter and to look elsewhere for her biological father.
Five DNA tests have confirmed Davido is not Anuoluwapo’s father. Nonetheless, Adedeji Adeleke will continue to provide financial support for the girl despite the results.
Davido insists the matter should be put to rest and urges the family to seek the real father.
