Ned Nwoko Rules Out Reunion with Regina Daniels, Insists on Therapy

Senator Ned Nwoko (APC, Delta North), still embroiled in public spat with his estranged wife, Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, has declared he will not take back.

He insists that her rehabilitation is the only priority for now.

In a statement posted on Instagram, billionaire lawmaker denied that he was secretly communicating with Regina or planning her return, as whispers in the social media suggested.

“I am not chatting with Regina, and I do not want her back in the house,” he wrote.

Nwoko shared screenshots of what he described as his last WhatsApp message to her, dated October 17.

He said Regina has been “completely under the influence of hard drugs,” which led to violent and irrational incidents.

The senator explained that the ultimatum he gave her was clear: therapy or nothing, insisting that her rehabilitation was non‑negotiable. His communication team later confirmed that leaked medical reports circulating online were genuine.

Regina, meanwhile, has accused Nwoko of misrepresenting their marriage, including her age at the time of their wedding, and even suggested that, if she was using drugs, it was her husband that introduced her to is, to fulfil his “sexual fantasy“.

Nwoko says her claims are unprovable, and reaffirmed that Regina was 21, not 17, at the time of their marriage, and even presented her voter’s card as proof.

The bitter exchanges have kept Nigerians glued to social media. Amidst the back and forth are two gorgeous little children in desperate need for mother’s nurturing, and a stable, happy home.

Does this issue represent perhaps the bitter and unheard marital struggles in many homes? And do you think making it public helps to improve or worsens any prospects of reconciliation and healing?
