One Million Bibles to Mark Seyi Tinubu’s 40th Birthday

Nigeria’s First Son, Seyi Tinubu, turned 40 this week — and the celebrations have swept across faiths, communities, and institutions.

The Natives, a socio-political movement of Nigerians from diverse tribes and religions, rolled out drums to honour him, describing Seyi as a stabilising force in the current administration.

In a statement on Monday, the group’s leader, Hon. Smart Edwards, said Seyi Tinubu’s influence among young people has helped strengthen national unity. “Without you in this government, it would have been total disorder,” he said.

Edwards called the President’s son “a knight with the golden armour” and “a bridge to young people”, noting that his humility and compassion have inspired hope among Nigerian youths.

A Million Bibles for Moral Renewal

At the National Christian Centre in Abuja, friends and well-wishers unveiled a faith-inspired project to distribute one million copies of the Holy Bible across Nigeria in Seyi Tinubu’s honour.

The thanksgiving service, coordinated by Hon. Belusochukwu Enwere, National Chairman of the Youth Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria (YOWICAN), drew clergy from various denominations.

Enwere said the initiative aims to promote moral transformation and civic responsibility. “The one million Bible project is a gift to the body of Christ and a seed for moral transformation,” he said.

The first batch of Bibles was presented for distribution through churches, schools, and community groups nationwide. The event was simultaneously held in over 40 churches across the country.

Father’s Letter to a Son

In a heartfelt message, President Bola Tinubu wrote to his son from Aso Villa:

“As you turn forty, I thank Almighty God for your life and the man you have become. You have walked your path with focus, courage, and humility.”

The President praised Seyi’s business achievements, philanthropy through the Noella Foundation, and devotion to family. “Forty bridges youthful drive and the wisdom that life brings. You have carried your name with honour,” he wrote.

He concluded his letter with blessings: “Happy 40th Birthday, my son. You have made us proud, and I know you will continue to make Nigeria proud.”
