President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania visited Texas to see flood-affected areas. They met with victims’ families and got media attention.
A lip reader revealed that Trump spoke seven words to Melania as they got off the plane. “Look at how shaken up everyone is,” said Trump, according to reports.
Nicola Hickling, a known lip reader, shared what she saw during their visit.
Trump expressed his desire to work with the affected people. He said, “I certainly want to work with them. We’re a fair country. I’ll formalize the check, they will finish their training.”
Trump Meets First Responders in Texas
Trump and Melania also met first responders and victims of the recent flash floods. Trump saluted someone at the stairs and asked, “How are you?” off-camera.
Hickling also claimed that during July 4th festivities, Trump made a strange comment to Melania, stating, “I think we should have a quicky.” The claims raised eyebrows given the public display of affection on the same day.
During the Texas trip, Melania experienced a rare emotional moment. Camp Mystic survivors gifted her a bracelet with charms to honour those who died.
Melania said, “My deepest sympathy to all the parents who lost beautiful young souls.” She promised to visit again, “I will be back.” The flood’s toll reached 120 deaths, with 170 people still missing.
