Manchester City announced Thursday that Pep Guardiola has signed a new two-year contract, extending his stay as the club’s manager until 2027. The 53-year-old Spaniard, who has won 18 trophies with City, including six Premier League titles and the Champions League, had been considering leaving at the end of the season.

This is my ninth season; we have experienced many amazing times together. I have a really special feeling for this football club,” Guardiola said.

Guardiola’s new contract will see him celebrate 10 years at City in the summer of 2026.
