How the Match Unfolded

Chelsea took the lead early through Tosin Adarabioyo’s header from a corner in the 12th minute. Less than a minute later, Marc Guiu doubled the lead by capitalizing on a defensive error. Axel Disasi added a third goal with another header from a corner, and Joao Felix scored a fourth goal with a chipped finish after Noah had passed more poorly.

Felix got his second just before halftime, following Mykhailo Mudryk’s stunning goal from the edge of the box into the top-left corner.

In the second half, Christopher Nkunku scored twice, first from a rebound after his one-on-one effort was saved and then from the penalty spot after a VAR review awarded a penalty for Dewsbury-Hall’s challenge.

Post-Match Analysis

Chelsea’s performance was a masterclass in attacking football, exploiting every defensive lapse by FC Noah. Their relentless pressing and efficient finishing were key to their success. Tosin Adarabioyo and Marc Guiu both scored their first goals for Chelsea, adding to the team’s impressive display.

FC Noah struggled to cope with Chelsea’s intensity and pressing, leading to numerous defensive errors that were ruthlessly punished. Despite occasional glimpses of attacking intent, Noah’s defense was their undoing.

What the Coaches Said

Enzo Maresca: “The boys were fantastic today. We took our chances well and maintained high intensity throughout. It’s a performance to be proud of.

Christopher Nkunku was named the Man of the Match for his outstanding performance. He scored twice and contributed significantly to Chelsea’s dominant victory.

FC Noah Coach: “We made too many mistakes, and Chelsea punished us for everyone. We need to learn from this and improve.”

What’s Next

Chelsea will look to build on this momentum as they prepare for their next Premier League match. FC Noah will aim to regroup and address their defensive frailties in their upcoming domestic fixtures.
