An Iranian court found Mr. Ronaldo guilty of adultery when he hugged an unmarried woman who is a fan of his.
The Al-Nassr striker was in Tehran to play Persepolis in the Asian Champions League.
As part of Ronaldo’s welcome, many Iranian fans showered him with gifts, including Fatima Hamami. She’s a disabled who lives in Persepolis, paralyzed at least 85 per cent of her body and uses a wheelchair for mobility.

Ronaldo stooped low to greet her, hugged her – then fell foul of the strict Islamic law of the Republic which forebides masculine contact with unmarried females.
Some of the country’s overzealous legislators and lawyers immediately filed charges against him in court for Adultery – according to Islamic laws.
Although Christiano Ronaldo left Iran before before the court judgement, the verdict subsists and awaits him on his next foot on Iranian soil.
