Oma Osele has been crowned Miss Continental World 2026, bringing the international pageant title to Nigeria.
The 28-year-old medical laboratory scientist, entrepreneur and model from Lagos secured the crown at the grand finale in Ayutthaya, Thailand. She represented Nigeria after winning the EliteGlam Pageant Nigeria 2025 title.
Osele also claimed three additional honours: Queen of Africa, Best Physique, and Best National Costume.
The Queen of Africa award recognised her as the highest-placing African contestant in the competition.
A Campaign Built on Momentum
Her victory marks a significant achievement for Nigeria on the global pageantry stage.
Osele’s rise in the competition gathered pace in September when she received the World Premiere Award after topping the global fan vote on Eventista’s 1Vote platform.

She finished ahead of India’s Monica Konjengbam and Thailand’s Pornpaya Rianju in the final standings.
India’s Shreeya Panda was named first runner-up in the main competition.
The victory earned Osele a media package including social media promotion and an AP News press release.
Nigeria also recorded a strong result in the male contest, with Unwana Sambo Essien finishing third runner-up at Mister Continental World 2026.

Essien additionally won the King of Kings title and the male category’s Best National Attire award.
Osele’s triumph adds to Nigeria’s growing record of success in international pageantry.
