The Presiding Bishop of Living Faith Church Worldwide, David Oyedepo, has unveiled details of the church's new Ark auditorium at Canaanland, Ota, Ogun State, describing the facility as a “global amazement.

Oyedepo disclosed that the auditorium has a seating capacity of 109,000, alongside 20 industrial chillers, 126 escalators and 29 elevators.

He made the disclosure during the Day Five Impartation Service of the church’s 2026 Annual Youth Alive Convention, held at Faith Tabernacle, Canaanland, as part of a five-day event themed “Next Levels” that ran from August 18 to 22.

In a video sighted by JolibaLive News on Tuesday, Oyedepo said the scale of the Ark project reflects what he called the “unlimited breakthrough power” of God. “What you have going on now, called The Ark, is a global amazement. I mean, it’s a global amazement,” he said.

He said the 109,000-capacity auditorium is fitted with individual seats rather than benches and explained that each of the 20 industrial chillers has enough capacity to power a 5,000-bed hotel, forming part of the building’s central air-conditioning system.

“There are 109,000 seats. Seats, not benches. Seats. There are 20 chillers… There are 126 escalators, 29 elevators,” he said.

Bishop Denies Special Offering Was Collected For Project

Oyedepo dismissed suggestions that the church had recently asked members for a special offering to fund the Ark’s construction, challenging members to recall when such an offering was last raised for the project.

“Now, ask Faith Tabernacle, when was the last offering raised for The Ark? Not even mentioning Sunday offering. Any offering for The Ark,” he said.

He said the church’s welfare programme supports at least 2,000 people every week and insisted the auditorium carries no outstanding financial obligations.

“Nothing on ground will be paid tomorrow. All paid off. They are just fixing,” he said, adding that the project had progressed without repeated appeals for funds or special prayer campaigns.

Bishop Declares “Stress-Free” Breakthroughs For Members

Oyedepo used the occasion to declare that members would experience what he called stress-free breakthroughs, calling on them to embrace love as a foundation of Christian advancement.

“Your breakthroughs from henceforth shall be stress-free,” he declared, describing love as “the greatest lifter of the believer.”

The Ark auditorium adds to a series of large-scale structures already built at Canaanland, a campus that has long served as the headquarters of Living Faith Church Worldwide, also known as Winners’ Chapel, one of Nigeria’s largest Pentecostal denominations with congregations across Africa and beyond.

The new facility’s scale places it among the largest church auditoriums in the world by seating capacity, reinforcing Canaanland’s status as a major religious and architectural landmark in southwestern Nigeria.
