The Tinubu Mega Group has launched a nationwide mobilisation campaign to support President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 election.
The group made the announcement on Monday in Abuja, revealing plans to rally millions of supporters across Nigeria through coordinated grassroots and media campaigns.
It said the effort will peak at a national convention set for May 17, 2026, in Abuja, where endorsements and support structures will be unveiled.
“This is not just mobilisation, this is a movement,” the group said.
“This is the convergence of millions of voices across professions, regions, and social classes.”
Meanwhile, the group said it is working with over 1,500 affiliated organisations, including civil groups, labour unions, and professional bodies.
It described the coalition as a wide national alignment designed to strengthen backing for Tinubu’s second-term ambition.
Furthermore, the mobilisation includes an endorsement drive targeting 20 million signatures, which will be presented at the Abuja convention.
“The objective is to ensure that the voice of millions of Nigerians resonates in every corner of the country,” the statement added.
Mass Mobilisation Strategy Targets Nationwide Support
The Tinubu Mega Group said the campaign will combine traditional and digital outreach to expand its reach across all regions.
It plans daily appearances on television, radio, and newspapers, alongside coordinated online campaigns using influencers and content creators.
“The countdown will not be business as usual,” the group said.
“It is a coordinated national build-up to position the convention as a defining moment.”
In addition, grassroots activities will include road walks, market activations, and community rallies designed to engage citizens directly.
The group said all mobilisation efforts will follow democratic principles and remain peaceful across states.
“We call on Nigerians to participate in this historic show of unity and national direction,” it said.
Political Context And Build-Up To 2027 Election
The campaign comes as political groups begin early positioning ahead of Nigeria’s 2027 general elections.
President Tinubu, elected in 2023, is expected to seek a second term under Nigeria’s constitutional two-term limit.
Meanwhile, support blocs across regions have begun organising endorsements and campaign structures well ahead of party primaries.
The Tinubu Mega Group said its initiative reflects growing political engagement across different sectors of society.
“This is an unprecedented national alignment of supporters,” the statement read.
It added that the convention will serve as a rallying point for consolidating momentum and setting the tone for the campaign season.
