Churchill’s Wife Rosy Meurer Denies Snatching Him from Tonto Dikeh

Actress Rosy Meurer has denied claims that she snatched her husband, Olakunle Churchill, from her colleague Tonto Dikeh.

In a series of Instagram videos, Meurer said she is happy in her marriage and has no reason to unfollow her husband, despite rumors suggesting she did so after he celebrated his son’s birthday with Tonto.

“I never unfollowed him, and I never will. My husband and I are cool. He is presently in Lagos with his son,” she explained.

Meurer addressed lingering insinuations that she was romantically involved with Churchill while he was married to Dikeh. She insisted she never had a relationship with Dikeh and met Churchill separately.

“All the news that I was her best friend and I snatched her hubby is all lies. When he was married, he was like a brother to me and helped me in my career. We were not dating,” she said.

She described Dikeh as 10 years older than her and denied being friends or having any prior connection. Meurer insists she is not a “bad person” and loves all her husband’s children equally.

Background: Churchill and Dikeh’s Marriage

Olakunle Churchill and Tonto Dikeh married in 2015, but their union quickly became troubled. By 2017, the marriage collapsed amid accusations of infidelity, alleged domestic violence, and public spats.

Their divorce was initiated on the instance of Dike with bitter exchanges on social media, leaving both parties estranged.

After the separation, Dikeh embarked on a journey of spiritual renewal.

She became more vocal about her Christian faith, often sharing messages of forgiveness, healing, and resilience.

She also redirected her energy into philanthropy and advocacy, particularly through her Tonto Dikeh Foundation.

Lessons for Young Women

The saga between Churchill, Dikeh, and Meurer carries lessons for young people who rush out of marriages, believing love is easy to find elsewhere.

Many discover too late that rebuilding relationships is harder than imagined, especially when one partner has moved on and found peace with a partner who respects and supports them.

Churchill eventually married Meurer, who has consistently defended their relationship against public criticism.

Their union reflects how men often rebuild quietly, while women who leave hastily may struggle with regret after realising they lost a good man in a haste

Meurer asked the public to allow her husband to spend time with his son in peace. “Anyone who has proof that I snatched him should bring it out. I am still Mrs. Churchill. Clock it,” she declared.

In recent times, Ms Dikeh has been warming her way back to Churchill, and posting pictures of her and Churchill with their son. For now, Churchill has a happy home with his new wife, but could her continued rapprochement with Dikeh and the coozing up of their relationship, howbeit because of their son they must care together for, pose any real threat to Meurer? Dikeh is a fighter.
