NPA Confirms 11 Ships Arrive Lagos with Fresh Fish, Diesel, Wheat

The update was contained in NPA’s latest publication, Shipping Position, made available to journalists on Tuesday.

According to the document, 31 additional ships are scheduled to arrive between January 13 and January 27. These vessels are laden with petroleum products, food items, and other essential commodities.

The expected consignments include bulk wheat, bulk urea, aviation fuel, petrol, crude oil, bulk gypsum, general cargo, and containers of assorted goods.

About 22 other ships are currently discharging cargo at the ports. Their loads include containers, diesel, bulk urea, gasoline, bulk wheat, crude oil, soya beans, bulk salt, fresh fish, bulk sugar, and bulk fertiliser.

The steady inflow of vessels underscores Lagos ports’ role as Nigeria’s busiest maritime hub, handling critical imports that sustain industries and households nationwide.
