Does Trump Have the Information if We’re Alone in the Universe?

The odds of President Donald Trump revealing what he knows about alien life have surged dramatically, with speculation mounting that full public disclosure could be imminent.

On Polymarket, a popular online prediction platform, the wagering pool titled “Trump declassifies UFO files in 2025?” has exploded with activity. Total bets have surpassed $7.3 million, with odds shifting from just 6% “Yes” on December 6 to a staggering 98% by Tuesday morning.

Polymarket allows users to bet on real‑world events using cryptocurrency, turning speculation into a crowd‑sourced probability meter.

In this case, a sudden surge of aggressive trades — including single purchases worth over $20,000 — sent confidence soaring that Trump may soon declassify UFO files.

UFO researcher and filmmaker Mark Christopher Lee told the Daily Mail he believes the surge was sparked by someone close to Trump. “I think someone on the inside knows this and has been buying, hence the rise,” Lee said.

Lee, who recently released The Rendlesham UFO: The British Roswell, added: “UFO researchers in the UK think this is going to happen. Trump will be the disclosure president.”

Whistleblower and retired U.S. Air Force Major David Grusch has also claimed Trump was fully briefed on incidents involving crashed spacecraft, alien remains, and multiple extraterrestrial races.

Historical Context

Previous White Houses, the U.S. military, and NASA have consistently denied human contact with UFOs or alien life. Trump himself has expressed skepticism but promised transparency, telling the Lex Fridman Podcast in 2024: “I’d love to do that. I have to do that.”

Polymarket clarified that for “Yes” bets to pay out, the Trump Administration must officially declassify any previously classified files about extraterrestrial life or unexplained aerial phenomena by the end of 2025.

The UFO speculation comes as Trump faces broader demands to declassify sensitive records, including Epstein‑related files.

A new federal law requires the Department of Justice to publish unclassified Epstein materials by December 19, though Polymarket bettors currently give that only a 62% chance.

Podcast host Joe Rogan has also called for whistleblowers on extraterrestrials to receive amnesty and protection.

The surge in UFO disclosure odds follows the November release of The Age of Disclosure, a documentary alleging an 80‑year global cover‑up of alien life and technology. Ironically, betting odds dropped after the film’s release, hitting their lowest point since April.

But since December 7, confidence has skyrocketed by more than 85 percentage points, fueled by rumors, insider tips, and viral buzz.

Whether Trump will indeed become the “disclosure president” remains uncertain, but the betting markets suggest many believe Americans are days away from learning what their government knows about UFOs.
