King Charles III has removed all royal titles from his brother, Prince Andrew, and ordered him to leave his residence on the Windsor estate. The action comes amid allegations linking Andrew to the late Jeffrey Epstein’s sex-trafficking activities.

Buckingham Palace confirmed that Charles has begun the formal process to revoke Andrew’s titles.

“Prince Andrew will now be known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor. These censures are deemed necessary, notwithstanding the fact that he continues to deny the allegations against him,” the palace said.

Andrew has been instructed to relocate “to alternative private accommodation” as soon as possible.

The palace added, “Their Majesties wish to make clear that their thoughts and utmost sympathies have been, and will remain with, the victims and survivors of any and all forms of abuse.”

The decision follows long-standing allegations from Virginia Giuffre, one of Epstein’s key accusers, who claimed Andrew sexually assaulted her on three occasions, twice when she was 17.

Andrew has denied all wrongdoing. Giuffre, who died by suicide in April at age 41, had detailed her experiences in a posthumous memoir.

The announcement has drawn widespread attention internationally, reflecting the royal family’s efforts to address past controversies and distance itself from the Epstein scandal. Observers note that Andrew did not contest the King’s decision.
