Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has returned to Port Harcourt after six months away from power under emergency rule.
His arrival at the Port Harcourt International Airport on Friday drew a jubilant crowd of supporters, ending days of speculation about his whereabouts.
The return follows President Bola Tinubuās suspension of the emergency rule that began in March during the political crisis between Fubara and his predecessor, Nyesom Wike.
