Redeemed Christian Bible College Graduates 6,760 at 73rd Convention

The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) kicked off its 73rd Annual Convention on Monday with a powerful startβ€”graduating 6,760 students from the Redeemed Christian Bible College (RCBC).

The graduation, held at Redemption City in Ogun State, marked a fresh chapter in RCCG’s mission to raise spiritual leaders and kingdom builders.

RCBC awarded certificates, diplomas, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctorate degrees to students who completed various ministry and theological programmes.

β€œIn the 2024/2025 academic year at RCBC, we thank God for the opportunity to graduate a total of 6,760 students. Amidst the challenges in Nigeria and the world, God gave us a bountiful harvest,” said Pastor Alabi Oti, Provost of RCBC.

He praised the steady leadership of RCCG and acknowledged Pastor E.A. Adeboye’s role in guiding the college through another successful academic cycle.

RCBC’s affiliations with Redeemer’s University and the University of Ibadan remain strong. Pastor Oti noted the impact of the Diploma in Youth Ministry programme, which graduated 13 youth provincial leaders this year.

He urged RCCG’s Youth and Young Adult ministries to adopt the diploma as a standard for youth pastors.

β€œYou Will Not Fail Him”

Pastor E.A. Adeboye, RCCG’s General Overseer, gave a heartfelt blessing to the graduates.

β€œThe Almighty God who has helped you thus far will not abandon you. You will not leave here with just certificates but with God’s anointing, backing, and support. You will not fail Him, nor will you disappoint yourselves,” he declared.

The ceremony also featured a sermon titled β€˜Every Knee Must Bow’ by Pastor Charles Achonwa of Doulous Ministries. He reminded the congregation that β€œall creation exists for God’s pleasure and glory.”

This graduation sets the tone for RCCG’s week-long convention themed β€œThe Overcomers”, drawing thousands of worshippers from across Nigeria and beyond.

Should RCCG make theological training mandatory for all youth pastors?

The Brain washing continues.
This is a country whose median age is 18 years and the best we can do is send 6000+ people into ministry?

How has this helped the instability and corruption in Nigeria.
