The Enugu State Government has announced the sale of shopping spaces at newly constructed modern transport terminals located in Holy Ghost, Gariki, Abakpa, and Nsukka.
The shops are being offered at discounted prices as part of a drive to encourage private investment and stimulate local commerce within the state.
The new terminals, designed to ease urban mobility and boost economic activity, feature designated retail sections that serve both travelers and residents.
The state is inviting traders, business owners, and investors to purchase the shop units at reduced rates before the deadline of June 25, 2025.
Massive Discounts on Shop Units Across All Locations
At the Holy Ghost terminal, three categories of shop spaces are available. Type A shops originally priced at ₦50 million are now selling for ₦30 million. Type B shops, previously ₦30 million, are now going for ₦18 million. Type C units, once ₦35 million, have been reduced to ₦21 million.
Gariki terminal also offers two types of shops. Type A spaces have dropped from ₦20 million to ₦12 million, while Type B has been slashed from ₦25 million to ₦12 million.

In Abakpa, the shop units are now selling for ₦15 million, down from ₦20 million. At the Nsukka terminal, shop units have also seen a price cut from ₦20 million to ₦12 million.
According to the government, these terminals are part of a larger vision to modernize Enugu’s public infrastructure and make the city more investor-friendly.
The terminals also serve as central transport hubs that connect various parts of the city and improve daily commute for thousands of residents.
An official from the Enugu State Investment Promotion Office said the offer will close after June 25, 2025.
“This is a limited opportunity. Anyone who wants to own a business space in these high-traffic locations must act now,” the official said. “The terminals are already attracting attention, and early buyers stand to benefit the most.”
Interested buyers can contact the appropriate government office to schedule a site visit or begin the purchase process. The move is expected to draw entrepreneurs from across the region and provide a steady income stream for the state.
