A sudden explosion lit up the Las Vegas Strip early Saturday morning outside the Aria Resort and Casino. Witnesses described the fiery scene, with two palm trees engulfed in flames.
Videos circulating on social media captured the dramatic fire, and some onlookers called the incident an “explosion.”
One witness reported hearing a loud bang, followed by a suspicious car speeding away. Another compared the noise to a “bomb,” fueling speculation about the cause of the fire.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) and the Clark County Fire Department responded quickly to the scene and managed to extinguish the fire before it spread. Officials conducted an immediate investigation to determine the source of the explosion.
LVMPD later released a statement clarifying that the fire was caused by fireworks. According to the police, an occupant in a moving vehicle threw fireworks outside the casino, igniting one of the palm trees. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
Authorities are continuing their inquiries to identify the individuals responsible for the act. Law enforcement officials have urged residents and visitors to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities.
