Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky wants an “immediate, full, and unconditional ceasefire” after a Russian drone hit a bus, killing nine people.
The attack happened in Marganets, a town in southern Ukraine. Sergiy Lysak, governor of Dnipropetrovsk, shared photos of the damaged bus. The images showed a large hole in the roof, broken windows, and blood on the floor.
Zelensky didn’t hold back his words.
“This was an egregiously brutal attack and an absolutely deliberate war crime,” he posted on social media.
He said the top priority is “stopping the killings.”
Lysak said 49 others were also hurt in the strike. Many of the injured were taken to nearby hospitals.

Zelensky again pushed for peace but asked for at least a pause in missile and drone strikes.
“We are also ready for an immediate ceasefire at least for civilian targets,” he said.
This came just days after Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a short Easter truce. That pause lasted about 30 hours. During that time, fighting reduced and airstrikes nearly stopped.
Ukraine and its allies weren’t impressed.
They called the truce a show for the cameras. Many said Putin doesn’t want real peace.
Between Tuesday night and early Wednesday, Russia launched over 100 drones at Ukraine, according to the Ukrainian air force. Multiple regions were hit.
Fires broke out in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Odesa, and Poltava as drones struck targets overnight.
In Russia, one person was wounded in Belgorod by Ukrainian shelling, the regional governor said.
Meanwhile, Zelensky’s top officials — including his chief of staff, defence minister, and foreign minister — met allies in London on Wednesday.
The talks were meant to be bigger. But U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio cancelled his visit at the last minute.
