Oleksandr Usyk and Daniel Dubois are reportedly close to finalizing a deal for a heavyweight rematch, targeted for July 12 at Wembley Stadium, with all four major world titles on the line.
The bout’s confirmation is pending final agreements, though Frank Warren cautions that nothing is finalized.
The rematch depends on the WBO Championship Committee granting an exemption for the fight to precede Usyk’s mandatory defense against interim champion Joseph Parker.
Usyk, previously unified champion after a win over Tyson in May, lost his IBF title to pursue a rematch with Tyson Fury. Dubois was then elevated to full IBF champion status and defended his title against Anthony Joshua.
Usyk and Dubois last met in August 2023, where Usyk won via ninth-round knockout in a bout that was controversial over a potentially low blow from Dubois.
The IBF has also mandated that Dubois defend his title against Derek Chisora by April 22—unless the WBO grants the exemption for the Usyk-Dubois rematch.
The final decision from the WBO Committee is still pending but could set the stage for an undisputed heavyweight title clash.
