JAMB Confirms UTME Candidates Must Sit Exams Within Registered States

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has reaffirmed that candidates for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) must sit for the exam within the state where they registered.

The board hopes that the policy to streamline logistics and ensure the integrity of the examination process.

JAMB emphasized that no candidate would be allowed to take the exam outside their registered state, directing all applicants to adhere strictly to this guideline.

The board has also assured that adequate measures are in place to accommodate all candidates within their respective states.

Preparations for the UTME is intensifying, with JAMB working closely with all other stakeholders to ensure a smooth and hitch-free examination across the country.
