The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that candidates who registered for the optional 2025 UTME Mock Examination can now print their notification slips. The slip contains important details such as the exam date, venue, and time.
JAMB’s Public Communication Adviser, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, confirmed this in a statement on Thursday, urging candidates to check their details early.
“Candidates are to visit the JAMB portal, click on ‘2025 Mock Slip Printing,’ enter their registration number, and print the slip,” he explained.

- Visit the official JAMB website
- Click on “2025 Mock Slip Printing”
- Enter your registration number
- Select “Print Examination Slip”
JAMB has scheduled the mock examination for Thursday, April 10, 2025. The main Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) will follow from Friday, April 25, 2025.
Importance of the Mock Examination
The mock test is optional but recommended. It helps candidates get familiar with the Computer-Based Test (CBT) environment before the main UTME. Many students use it as a practice session to understand the examination process better.
Candidates are advised to print their slips early and locate their assigned test centers before the exam day. This will help prevent last-minute issues such as transportation delays or difficulty finding the venue.
