Nigerian actress and reality star Annie Macaulay has finally addressed her rumored divorce from legendary singer 2Baba, months after reports circulated online.
In a now-deleted Instagram post, 2Baba had announced his separation from Annie. He later shocked fans by revealing his engagement to Natasha Osawaru, a member of the Edo State House of Assembly.
Following the speculation, Annie decided to speak out about her decision to remain silent.
“Silence isn’t weakness; it’s peace. Since my divorce from Innocent Idibia, I chose to step back, reflect, and heal away from the noise,” she wrote.
The actress, revealing a emotional maturity over her past outbursts on social media, said that she is prioritizing her well-being and that of her children. “The truth is, not everything needs to be explained, and not every battle is meant to be fought in public.“
