Billboard has named Beyoncé the greatest pop star of the 21st century, recognizing her 25 years of influence and excellence.
“Beyoncé tops our staff-chosen editorial list due to her extensive impact and evolution,” said Andrew Unterberger from Billboard.
Her ranking reflects her role as a record-setting Grammy winner and a pioneering artist who has set the standard for pop stars over the last 25 years.

Beyoncé holds the record for the most Grammy wins with 32 and is expected to gain even more after receiving 11 nominations for her 2024 album “Cowboy Carter.”
She has a strong presence on Billboard’s charts, with nine No. 1 hits and eight albums reaching the top of the Billboard 200, starting with her 2003 debut “Dangerously In Love.”
Since August, Billboard has been ranking the top 25 pop artists of the last 25 years. Taylor Swift and Rihanna follow Beyoncé on the list.
Adele, Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber, Kanye West, Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, and Drake round out the top 10, while Katy Perry is at No. 25. Other artists like Bad Bunny and The Weeknd are in between.
