The Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (OHCSF) has dismissed recent social media reports about its involvement in recruitment and employment procedures, labeling them as false and misleading.
In a statement by Mrs. Eno Olotu, Head of Information and Public Relations, the OHCSF clarified that these publications are the work of fraudulent job racketeers and scammers aiming to deceive the public.
The OHCSF reiterated that all matters related to recruitment and employment in the Federal Civil Service fall under the jurisdiction of the Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC) or other authorized government institutions.
“All Federal Civil and Public Service employment opportunities will be advertised on official government websites and portals,” the statement said. It further noted that the person and institution mentioned in the fake online publications do not exist, and the portal listed is not affiliated with either the FCSC (www.fcsc.gov.ng) or the OHCSF (www.ohcsf.gov.ng).
The OHCSF urged the public to remain vigilant and cautious, emphasizing that this is the best way to protect themselves from fraudulent recruitment schemes and unauthorized payment solicitations for Federal Civil Service employment.
