Kuye Oghenevwede Adegoke, more popularly known as “Egungun of Lagos“, is a Nigerian internet personality.
Born 5 March 1995, he grew up in Okitipupa, Ondo State, and attended Royfield Junior School and Lagos State Model College. He earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Lagos. Egungun started his content creation career in 2018 and gained recognition as a dancer before changing his name to “Egungun” after wearing the Yoruba masquerade.
He gained mainstream sensation when his videos were reposted on social media by Snoop Dogg and Tunde Ednut. He is also known for his catchphrase, “Damn! It’s Massive Baby!” which gained popularity in Nigeria.
