Davido – the Nigerian musician celebrity who got married in June this year, has announced a new song, “Joy“, a collaboration with Angélique Kidjo – the “Africa’s premier diva,”
Davido did not share a single chord from the song but promised it would be released on Friday, August 30th, keeping his fans’ mouths watering until then.
“It was an honor working with the legend Angélique“, he tweeted.
A collabo with the talented Angélique – the first of such, promises to be a hit.
Angélique is a superstar singer-songwriter and actress from the Benin Republic who has won five Grammy Awards and is a 2023 Polar Music Prize laureate.
Kidjo is fluent in five languages and uses traditional Benin vocal techniques.
