The Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) shared N1.354 trillion from revenue accruals into the Federation Account of N2.483 trillion in June 2024.
In May, the accruals were N2.324.792 trillion, suggesting more revenues came in, in June.
The total distributable revenue, broken down, includes statutory revenue of N142.514 billion, VAT revenue of N523.973 billion, Electronic Money Transfer Levy (EMTL) revenue of N15.692 billion, exchange difference revenue of N472.192 billion, and an augmentation of N200.000 billion.
The federal government received N459.776 billion, states received N461.979 billion, and local government councils received N337.019 billion. N95.598 billion, or 13 percent of mineral derivation revenue, was shared among the oil-bearing states.
From the N523.973 billion distributable VAT revenue, the federal government received N78.596 billion, states received N261.987 billion, and local government councils received N183.391 billion.
In June 2024, gross revenue of N562.685 billion was available from VAT, higher than N497.665 billion in May 2024.
