Vital Evidence Against OnlyFans White Model, Who Killed Her Nigerian Boyfriend Tossed Out

The way the trial of Ms Courtney Clenney, who murdered her Nigerian boyfriend, Christian Obumselu is going may potentially end in her acquittal as a vital evidence against her is dismissed by the trial judge.

On Wednesday, June 26, the female Judge, Ms Laura Shearon Cruz, of the Miami-Dade Circuit ruled that the manner a piece of the evidence against Clenney was obtained contravened client-attorney privilege.

Courtney Clenney is an OnlyFans model (a group of sex-related models). She was charged with second-degree murder after she allegedly fatally stabbed and killed her young Nigerian boyfriend at their opulent Edgewater condo.

Evidence abounds of a highly toxic relationship between the two, with video footages frequently capturing Courtney violently attacking Obumselu.

Judge Excludes Evidence from Laptop

Earlier this year, prosecutors charged Courtney’s parents, Kim Dewayne and Deborah Clenney, along with their daughter Courtney, for hacking into Obumselu’s laptop to erase some incriminating information. But state attorneys were able to access Dewayne’s iCloud account, uncovering messages showing the family collaborating with defense attorneys to guess passwords to access the laptop after Obumselu’s death. They eventually succeeded.

Judge Cruz decided against admitting those evidence about Courtney’s parents, insisting, “I am granting the defendant’s motion, in part, to exclude them as evidence,” Cruz said.

She said she finds that the prosecuting attorneys had broken the law in the manner they collected the evidence.

Controversial Hacking Charges

The parents’ defense attorneys argued that the computer was shared between Courtney and Obumselu and that the parents had Courtney’s authorization to access it. Although the those defense attorneys were not charged with the hacking, all three Clenney family members faced charges.

The lawyer for Courtney, Jude Faccidomo, explained Cruz’s ruling to the media this way.

What happened was a violation of attorney-client privilege,” Faccidomo emphasized. “That’s a breach of their privacy rights, and because of that, Judge Cruz excluded any evidence discovered through this means.

Attorney-client privilege and the defense camp have been invaded,” said Faccidomo. “The next steps for the state’s attorney’s office should be to dismiss the charges against my client and recuse themselves from the homicide case against Courtney Clenney.”

Looking Ahead

After a prolonged legal battle, defense attorneys secured this victory from Judge Cruz that excludes those messages as evidence in the homicide case, potentially fatally wounding the prosecutors case. The next hearing in this case is scheduled for August.

This could add to a long list of acquittals of women who have been accused of homicides against their husbands in the United States, especially where the husbands have been men of color. And it is also a stark reminder to avoid toxic relationship before they snowball into potentially life-threatening situations.
