WBC Heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has arrived in Saudi Arabia ahead of his highly anticipated bout with Oleksandr Usyk.
The professional boxing fight between the English WBC and Lineal heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury, and Ukrainian WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, IBO and The Ring heavyweight champion, Oleksandr Usyk is billed as The Ring of Fire. It will determine who will be crowned the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world.
The bout was originally scheduled to take place on 17 February 2024 but later postponed to Saturday May 18, due to a facial injury sustained by Fury in training.
The fight will take place at the same scheduled venue, Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia,
Fury was accompanied by a large entourage including family, friends, and trainer SugarHill Steward as he landed in Saudi on Saturday, May 4. The group appeared jubilant as they posed for photographs in Riyadh, Saudi’s capital.






They were warmly received with bouquets and hot beverages after their seven-hour flight from the UK.
With neither fighter ever lost a fight in their careers so far, anticipation is building for an epic and monumental showdown of the decade.
