Time Magazine will tomorrow Wednesday, December 6 unveil its 2023 Person of the Year. Nine finalists have been disclosed during NBC’s “Today Show.”
The tradition of naming a Person of the Year, dates back to 1927, recognizing individuals, groups, or concepts that significantly influenced global events in the preceding 12 months.
In previous years, other recipients have included Martin Luther King Jr., Pope Francis, and Germany’s only female leader, Angela Merkel.
Last year, 2022, Volodymyr Zelenskyy got the award, lauded for his leadership and defiance over Russia’s military incursion in Ukraine
