President Tinubu To Embark On Another Foreign Trip On Wednesday

Nigeria’s President Bola Tinubu is set to depart Nigeria for United Arab Emirates for the second time in her 5 months old presidency, this time to attend COP28 Climate Summit, the 28th United Nations Climate Change Conference in the UAE holding in Dubai.

An official statement from the Voice of Nigeria says “The President’s emphasis will center on ensuring accountability in businesses and institutions, underscoring Nigeria’s commitment to sustainable and responsible practices”.

Other foreign trips he has undertaken includes Germany, France, Saudi Arabia, Guinea Bissau.

The last time Mr. Tinubu was in Dubai in September, his fledgling government hailed a “historic agreement” with the UAE leaders to lift the ban on visa issuance to Nigerians. The UAE government denied it and an embarrassed federal government later retracted the claim.

Tinubu will be addressing the Nigerian parliament tomorrow Wednesday to table before it his N24 Trillion 2024 Appropriation Bill before his lift off out of the country.
