Pastor Dead From Dunamis Church Building Collapse In Benue

A church building has partially collapsed in Makurdi killing the pastor and injuring four other worshippers.

Dunamis Church located at Ward North Bank fell Monday from yet undetermined causes.

Benue police has confirmed the incident and said the survivors are currently hospitalized.

Building collapses have become all too common in Nigeria and often traced to sub-quality building materials and lack of government enforcement of standardized building practices and ethics.

Dunamis Church is headed by fiery cleric Senior Pastor Paul Enenche whose headquarters is in Abuja. The church has not released any official information regarding the incident.
